Melissa Frost

I am dedicated to supporting you on your path of self-discovery in a safe environment that welcomes diverse identities and expressions. I use a person-centered approach, meaning our partnership is built on trust, respect, and curiosity to understand your needs and honor your voice. I specialize in art therapy and integrate evidence-based practices from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialetical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and strengths-based counseling. In addition to talk therapy, we may explore mindfulness techniques, visual expression, or narrative work to tap into your innate creative wisdom to find meaning, gain insights, and explore new perspectives.

I do not believe that you are here to be “fixed”. Our modern world is fast-paced and overstimulating, making it difficult to navigate transitions and losses–especially if you’re carrying unresolved conflict, intergenerational trauma, or the weight of systemic oppression. Taking time to reflect, process, and reconcile pain can lead to post-traumatic growth, resilience, and authenticity. My intention is to provide individualized, compassionate care that supports your unique neurobiology and strengthens your adaptive skills.

There’s power in developing a healthy and loving relationship with yourself first. Clarifying your values creates a strong foundation for living in alignment, fostering fulfilling connections, and nourishing relationships. My aim is to empower you to care for your mind, body, and spirit so you can face challenges and embrace the beauty of the whole human experience.
